Keypath Education was built on a foundation of opportunity for our employees – an open and connected team where anyone in any role can make an impact and be heard. Our Marketing team has always worked very closely with our Admissions team, and our Content Manager, Rae Ann Menotti’s journey at Keypath to date showcases how that connection can manifest itself into exciting career growth and opportunity.

Rae Ann's Personal Quote: "When it is obvious that the goals cannot be reached, don't adjust the goals, adjust the action steps." -Confucius

Explain in two or three sentences what your role at Keypath entails:

In my role, I help strategize, coordinate, and write content for our university partners.  I work collaboratively with an amazing team to capture and promote the student journey.  The programs I support are typically in healthcare, human and social services, and business.

What excites you about working for Keypath?

At the core, what excites me most about Keypath is the opportunity.  In 2017, I was hired as an Enrollment Advisor within Admission Services.  I was the first point of contact for students inquiring about our program- from our initial conversation until classes started, I was a part of their journey.

A year later, I stepped into a Senior Advisor role.  I continued supporting students, guided an incredible team, and managed other projects.  Keypath encourages collaboration, so I had the opportunity to work closely with our marketing department on several initiatives.  I enjoyed these experiences and wanted to continue to grow.

In April 2019, I transitioned to the Content Manager role within Marketing Services.  This position is exciting because I have a unique perspective on the student journey.  My background in Admissions helps me connect with students to create meaningful content.

Where do you see your specialty going in the next five years?

I see growth in my position, in marketing, and in online education.  There's an ongoing need to adapt as industry trends change.  The phrase "it's a buyer's market" applies to students, too.  With more universities and programs joining the online modality each year, the need to stand out with a differentiator is growing.  As the field evolves, our efforts to creatively market our programs will too.

How can you use your skills to change the student experience for the better?

Having a background in real conversations helps me reach students now - I'm still focused on addressing their needs, just in a different way.  When I create content, I rely on my experience with students to capture their journey and promote materials that are relevant.

What is your favorite personal achievement?

My favorite personal achievement is teaching my three-year-old daughter the words to Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd.  It's the only song I know all the lyrics to, and she knew it by heart before any lullabies.  I felt like a cool parent.  It's our job to give our children the best, right?  That includes music.

Is there a hobby you can't live without?

I absolutely love camping or jogging in the woods.  Connecting to nature is an amazing way to recharge.
