Suffolk University Launches Four New Online Master’s Degree Programs in Business

Suffolk University's Sawyer Business School is now offering four new online business programs: Master of Science in Accounting, Master of Science in Finance, Master of Science in Business Analytics, and Master of Healthcare Administration.  The 100% online programs will help students gain advanced knowledge in various areas of global business and healthcare administration in the United States.

Based on industry outlooks and salary reports, these four-degree programs are among the top in-demand graduate business degrees today.  Students enrolled in these master's degree programs will gain real-world experience from professors who live and work in Boston, a global leader in financial and healthcare fields.

A glance at the new business programs

• The Master of Science in Accounting prepares students for careers as CPAs or CMAs by introducing them to high-level accounting concepts and their applications in the industry.  The Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts a 10 percent growth for accountants and auditors by 2026.  Sawyer Business School's accounting programs are also the only ones in Boston that hold AACSB supplemental accreditation.

• The Master of Science in Finance offers advanced education in investment management, corporate finance, and financial analysis & planning while preparing students for leadership roles in the finance industry.  The Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts that demand for financial managers will grow 19 percent by 2026.

• The Master of Science in Business Analytics focuses heavily on applying analytics in all business functions, including finance, marketing & sales, operations, etc.  As more companies gain unprecedented access to their own data, business analytics is a fast-growing and in-demand industry - the business analytics industry is expected to hit $71.1 billion by 2022, reports Reuters.

• The Master of Healthcare Administration enables students to develop knowledge and skills in key areas of the dynamic healthcare industry, including analytics, performance improvement, innovation, strategy and change management - with the aim of preparing effective and successful healthcare leaders and managers.  The demand for healthcare administration professionals will grow 20 percent by 2026, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

The online business programs have been launched in collaboration with Suffolk's Online Program Management partner, Keypath Education LLC.
