“A college education opens doors not only to career opportunities, but also to broader thinking, tolerance and compassion.”
What do you bring to Keypath as General Counsel and Secretary?
I have had the good fortune of spending most of my 20 year legal career in the education world, both at the K-12 and postsecondary levels. Along with that experience comes a keen understanding of the myriad of laws and regulations facing schools and service providers in the world of education, domestic and international.
What excites you about higher education?
I am a firm believer that there needs to be broad access to higher education opportunities for anyone with the desire and commitment to pursue them. A college education opens doors not only to career opportunities, but also to broader thinking, tolerance and compassion. Continuing to expand the modalities of study available to students beyond the traditional classroom setting is essential.
What’s the one hobby you couldn’t live without?
Rooting on the Chicago Blackhawks
If you found yourself stranded on a deserted island, what book would you wish you had?
I would need to choose two: Trinity by Leon Uris and The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas.
