Around the globe, Keypath employees are united by their belief in the transformative power of education, their commitment to helping our university partners create the best online education experiences, and their enthusiasm for their work. Their distinctive skills, responsibilities and personalities are what allow Keypath to continue providing unrivaled education services.

We would like to give you a glimpse into who these employees are, and how their expertise translates into success for our partners.

Tracie Comeaux discusses what she does at Keypath, why she loves it, and how the Enrollment Advisor role is integral to helping students realize their higher education goals:

What are your key responsibilities?

As an Enrollment Advisor, it is my responsibility to first represent our partner university’s mission, goals and concepts. Secondly, I am responsible for outreach to all potential students who are interested in learning more about our partner’s schools and programs. I engage with these potential students to ensure mutual fit. I walk the potential student through an interview, assist them in building a strong application file and ultimately get them started on day 1 of their program.

What kind of skills do you need to be an Enrollment Advisor?

There are many skills needed to be a successful Enrollment Advisor. One important skill is to have the desire and passion to help others. Going back to school is a big decision for our students and they need someone in their corner supporting and guiding them. Enrollment Advisors also need to be able to listen. Many of our students share important details about themselves and their life situation, which are the guiding reasons why they are seeking higher education. Listening to students and being empathetic shows the student that I’m engaged. Other important skills include both verbal and written communication. An Enrollment Advisor spends all day communicating over the phone and via email. It’s critical that we are providing accurate information in a professional manner.

What is your role important at Keypath?

My role as an Enrollment Advisor is important at Keypath because I am the voice of our partner university. It is my responsibility to represent my partner and provide fantastic customer service to all potential students. We know that to BE BOLD AND DO MEANINGFUL work, we must put our partners and students first. If we follow this commitment, then Keypath and our partner universities will be successful!

What do you enjoy most about your role?

I have been in higher education for 13 years and have a passion for the difference it can make. I love working with our partners and helping them grow their online student population. I also love working with the students and helping them reach their goals and dreams through higher education. I find my job very rewarding.

What do you enjoy most about working at Keypath?

I have been with Keypath for 2.5 years and I have enjoyed every minute of it. I have worked for other OPM companies in the Chicagoland area and I can truly say that Keypath is a fantastic place to work. What I love the most are the people. Our leaders are accessible and really listen. I also enjoy the fact that Keypath is growing, changing and evolving daily. This growth keeps on us our toes but also provides career advancement! I started at Keypath as an Enrollment Advisor, worked my way up to Senior Enrollment Advisor and was just recently promoted to Admissions Training Manager.
