As the Executive Vice President of Keypath Education Canada, Graeme leans on his entrepreneurial background, marketing mind and love for learning to transform the way universities across the country reach, engage and retain students. Graeme is passionate about building the business he works with, giving back to the next generation of leaders and continuing to better himself and those around him every day.

What excites you about higher education?
At its core, higher education creates economic opportunity and transforms worlds. As the demands of the professional world evolve, higher education can’t end in the years immediately after high school - it must innovate with technology-enabled, career-relevant programming for professionals. In Canada, there is a tremendous opportunity to lean into those trends, reach more professional students and deliver content on their terms, creating a transformational economic impact in our country.

What do you bring to Keypath as Executive Vice President, Canada?
I’ve been lucky enough to work with some incredible teams across digital start-ups and best-in-class tech companies. Most recently, I led the Canadian Higher Education business at LinkedIn on the Marketing Solutions team.

In that role, I learned from conversations with University Presidents and Deans that schools in Canada have talented faculty, a passion for innovation, and a commitment to the best possible student experience. At Keypath, I am excited to build on this foundation and help Canadian Universities rethink the way they launch programs, grow enrolment, improve learning and optimize student careers across the country.

Throughout my career, I have always been passionate about leading people and building up businesses with which I work. At Keypath Canada, we have a talented team that drives our growing organization. In my role, I commit to providing the clarity, energy and results we need to accomplish our goals together.

What’s the best lesson you’ve learned in business?
“If you want to be terrific, be specific.” I learned early in my career that thoughtful, concise communication takes time and practice, but the ability to clearly articulate your asks helps unlock what you need and want.

What’s your motto?
Gratitude turns what we have into enough

What’s the one hobby you couldn’t live without?
I would have to say golf. Some call the game “a good walk spoiled,” but I feed off being outdoors, practicing on getting better and the friendly competition.

We put the student at the centre of our entire experience. That shared objective inspires us to innovate in collaboration with our university partners and motivates us to do our best work every day.”
